Ken Law is the Group Chief Operating Officer, Group Chief Financial Officer and a Partner of The Longreach Group based in Hong Kong. Ken is responsible for the operational, financial management and compliance functions and development of the Firm. He also works closely with Longreach’s investment team to support portfolio management, including through board positions.
Before Longreach, Ken was the Group Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Ally Bridge Group, a global healthcare focused investment group. In that role, Ken was responsible for the financial, operational and compliance infrastructure of the group. Before Ally Bridge Group, Ken was a Director and Asia Regional Controller at TPG-Axon Capital, a multi-billion-dollar hedge fund based in New York, overseeing finance and operations for the Asia region. He also has extensive product, operational and market risk knowledge of equity and credit markets from his experience in Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan where he last served as Vice President managing the middle office division.
Ken is a Chartered Accountant with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration from Victoria University.

Takuro Watanabe is the Japan Operating Officer of The Longreach Group based in Tokyo. Takuro is responsible for operational, financial management, compliance, human resources and investors communications functions in the Tokyo office. Takuro also works closely with the Group Chief Operating Officer and Group Chief Financial Officer on Group wide operations management and funds related structuring.
Before joining Longreach, Takuro was the Head of Operations at J-STAR where he was responsible for structuring and operations of funds, foreign subsidiary management, compliance functions, administrative and human resource matters. Before J-STAR, he was employed in investment banking COO functions in Mizuho Securities, Deutsche Securities and Barclays Securities in Japan. Takuro started his career as a banker in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs where he also gained experience in management office functions in its CEO Office and its Securities Division.

Takuro Watanabe is the Japan Operating Officer of The Longreach Group based in Tokyo. Takuro is responsible for operational, financial management, compliance, human resources and investors communications functions in the Tokyo office. Takuro also works closely with the Group Chief Operating Officer and Group Chief Financial Officer on Group wide operations management and funds related structuring.
Before joining Longreach, Takuro was the Head of Operations at J-STAR where he was responsible for structuring and operations of funds, foreign subsidiary management, compliance functions, administrative and human resource matters. Before J-STAR, he was employed in investment banking COO functions in Mizuho Securities, Deutsche Securities and Barclays Securities in Japan. Mark also works closely with Longreach’s investment professionals and company management teams across the portfolio to support value creation and exits. KT started his career at Cantor Fitzgerald, LLC in Tokyo where he was a foreign exchange options broker.

Before that, he was analyst at Japan Bank for International Corporation and worked for sovereign risk assessment.

Prior to joining Longreach, Hiroki was an associate at Tokyo office of Baring Private Equity Asia and engaged in investment activities from deal sourcing to post-investment value creation. Before that, he was a consultant of Boston Consulting Group at Tokyo office and involved in mid-term business plan development, new business strategy creation, and business portfolio review for various industries. Before that, he was analyst at Japan Bank for International Corporation and worked for sovereign risk assessment.

Takehiko Kawauchi is a Manager based in Tokyo. Ken Law is the Group Chief Operating Officer, Group Chief Financial Officer and a Partner of The Longreach Group based in Hong Kong. Ken is responsible for the operational, financial management and compliance functions and development of the Firm. He also works closely with Longreach’s investment team to support portfolio management, including through board positions.
Before Longreach, Ken was the Group Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Ally Bridge Group, a global healthcare focused investment group. In that role, Ken was responsible for the financial, operational and compliance infrastructure of the group. Before Ally Bridge Group, Ken was a Director and Asia Regional Controller at TPG-Axon Capital, a multi-billion-dollar hedge fund based in New York, overseeing finance and operations for the Asia region. He also has extensive product, operational and market risk knowledge of equity and credit markets from his experience in Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan where he last served as Vice President managing the middle office division.
Ken is a Chartered Accountant with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration from Victoria University.

Leo received his B.A. in Accountancy from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
